Howard Transit provides fixed route bus service in Clarksville, Columbia, Ellicott City, North Laurel, Savage and Elkridge. Service is also available to BWI Airport, selected MARC stations, and industrial parks along the US 1 corridor in Howard County. Most routes operate Monday through Saturday, and selected routes offer Sunday services.

Holiday Schedule
Howard Transit and HT Ride does not operate on New Year’s
Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Service on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas
Eve and New Years Eve is limited to the Brown, Orange and Red Express
Routes Sunday schedules.
Code Red Days
When the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) issues a
Code Red Air Quality Alert for the Baltimore region, Howard Transit
fixed route passengers ride free.
Inclement Weather
When the weather causes unsafe driving conditions, service may
temporarily modified, interrupted or cancelled. Call Customer
Service or visit this website for more information. Schedule
changes will be announced on several radio and television stations
including WBAL (1090 AM) and GTV Channel 70.

Connect-A-Ride

Provides bus service between Laurel and Columbia (Route E) and in
North Laurel (Route C), Monday through Saturday. Stops on the E
route include Savage, Owen Brown and Kings Contrivance with free
transfers to Howard Transit routes.
